Pensamiento, Comentario, Reflexión: Apocalipsis 22:20, El que da testimonio de estas cosas dice Sí: Vengo pronto. Amén: Ven, Señor Jesús. La estructura de este versículo se asemeja a lo que ya hemos encontrado que es el de Apocalipsis 22:17, un intercambio de sentimientos entre el Señor y el creyente. Jesús mismo habla primero, presenciando la gran verdad de su venida, que ha sido el tema principal de toda la revelación de este libro; y agregando, como corresponde en el momento en que llegamos, que Él viene "rápidamente". A esto, el creyente o la Iglesia responde 'Amén' y luego agrega: 'Ven, Señor Jesús'. La venida de Cristo ha sido la fuente de su

esperanza, la fuente de tu alegría, en todos tus problemas. Cuando oye que está cerca, ¿qué puede hacer sino levantar la cabeza y gritar "Ven"?

Ahora no queda nada más que el apóstol, como comenzó en el cap. Apocalipsis 1,4 en forma epistolar también debe cerrar. Thought, Commentary, Reflection: Revelation 22:20, He who testifies to these things says Yes: I am coming soon. Amen: Come, Lord Jesus. The structure of this verse resembles what we have already found to be that of Revelation 22:17, an exchange of feelings between the Lord and the believer. Jesus Himself speaks first, witnessing the great truth of His coming, which has been the main theme of all the revelation in this book; and adding, as befits the moment we arrive, that He is coming "quickly." To this, the believer or the Church responds 'Amen' and then adds: 'Come, Lord Jesus.' Christ's coming has been the source of his

hope, the source of your joy, in all your problems. When you hear that you are close, what can you do but raise your head and shout "Come"?

Now there is nothing left but the apostle, as began in ch. Revelation 1,4 in epistolary form should also close. It does so with a blessing that should be read differently than the Authorized Version: The grace of the Lord Jesus be upon the saints. The words are in striking harmony with what we have found to be the tone and character of the entire book. The intention was especially to describe the fortune of the "saints"; it was written by them, to encourage and strengthen them; now it has reached a point where we see nothing but saints in the new heavens and the new earth; and your final greeting is for them.

One who testifies of these things, including everything in this book.
