Porque el Hijo del Hombre vino a buscar y salvar lo que se había perdido. Lucas 19:10

Pensamiento, Comentario, Reflexión: Para el hijo del hombre, Significándose a sí mismo, que él era verdaderamente hombre, y el Mesías, y ese era uno de sus nombres del Antiguo Testamento, vino del cielo a este mundo, siendo enviado por el Padre, y con pleno consentimiento y buena voluntad de su parte;

Buscar y salvar lo que se perdió, como todos sus elegidos estaban en Adán, y por sus propias transgresiones; y son considerados como tales, aunque en un estado de no regeneración: y particularmente las ovejas perdidas de la casa de Israel, una de las cuales era Zaqueo; y, por lo tanto, las palabras son una razón para que Cristo lo busque, lo llame por su gracia y se descubra a sí mismo y le aplique la salvación; ver Mateo 18:11.

Perdido, y los "perdidos" como este Zaqueo. (Ver Lucas 15:32.) ¿Qué estímulo hay en esta narrativa para esperar conversiones inesperadas?

Because the Son of Man came to seek and save what was lost. Luke 19:10

Thought, Commentary, Reflection: For the son of man, Signifying himself, that he was truly a man, and the Messiah, and that was one of his Old Testament names, came from heaven into this world, being sent by the Father , and with full consent and goodwill on your part;

Seek and save what was lost, as all his elect were in Adam, and by his own transgressions; and they are considered as such, although in a state of non-regeneration: and particularly the lost sheep of the house of Israel, one of which was Zacchaeus; and therefore words are a reason for Christ to seek him, call him by his grace, and discover himself and apply salvation to him; see Matthew 18:11.

Lost, and the "lost" like this Zacchaeus. (See Luke 15:32.) What encouragement is there in this narrative to expect unexpected conversions?
