Y él les dijo: Id por todo el mundo, predicad el evangelio a toda criatura. Marcos 16,15

Pensamiento, comentario, reflexión: en todo el mundo, tanto para gentiles como para judíos. Era contrario a los puntos de vista de los judíos que los gentiles debían ser admitidos a los privilegios del reino del Mesías, o que el muro de separación entre ellos debía ser derribado. Ver Hechos 22,21,22. Pasó mucho tiempo antes de que los discípulos pudieran ser entrenados en la creencia de que el evangelio debería ser predicado a todos los hombres; y fue solo por revelación especial, incluso después de ese mandamiento, que Pedro predicó al centurión gentil, Hechos 10; Jesús gentilmente ordenó que la predicación del evangelio no debería ser interrumpida por ninguna barrera. Dios ordena a sus siervos que ofrezcan la salvación a "todos los hombres". Si lo rechazan, es bajo su propio riesgo. Dios no tiene la culpa si no eligen ser salvos. Su misericordia es manifiesta; su gracia es ilimitada al ofrecer vida a una criatura tan culpable como el hombre.

Confesión de fe

Confieso mi pecado y le pido perdón, y libérame de toda condenación. Reconozco a Jesucristo como mi único y suficiente Salvador y Señor de mi vida. Escribe mi nombre en el libro de la vida.

And he said to them: Go into all the world, preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16.15

Thought, comment, reflection: all over the world, for both Gentiles and Jews. It was contrary to the views of the Jews that the Gentiles should be admitted to the privileges of the kingdom of the Messiah, or that the wall of separation between them should be broken down. See Acts 22,21,22. It was a long time before the disciples could be trained in the belief that the gospel should be preached to all men; and it was only by special revelation, even after that commandment, that Peter preached to the Gentile centurion, Acts 10; Jesus gently commanded that the preaching of the gospel should not be interrupted by any barriers. Wherever there is a man, he must be proclaimed. He offers life to every sinner, and everyone is included in the message of mercy, and every child of Adam receives eternal salvation.

Preaching, proclamation; to announce; Offer To do this with each creature is to offer forgiveness and eternal life under the plan of mercy, through repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus.

The gospel, the good news. The news of salvation. The certainty that the Messiah has arrived, and that sin can be forgiven and the soul saved.

For each creature, that is, for each human being. Man has no right to limit this offer to any class of men. God commands his servants to offer salvation to "all men." If they reject it, it is at your own risk. God is not to blame if you do not choose to be saved. His mercy is manifest; His grace is unlimited in offering life to a creature as guilty as man.

Confession of faith

I confess my sin and ask for forgiveness, and free me from all condemnation. I recognize Jesus Christ as my only and sufficient Savior and Lord of my life. Write my name in the Book of Life.
