Ahora el Señor, después de hablar con ellos, fue recibido al cielo y se sentó a la diestra de Dios. San Marcos 16,19

Pensamiento, comentario, reflexión: fue recibido en el cielo, en una nube del Monte de los Olivos. Ver Hechos 1.9.

La mano derecha de Dios. No debemos suponer que Dios tiene manos o que Jesús siente en una dirección específica de Dios. Esta frase está tomada de la forma de hablar entre los hombres y significa que fue exaltado al honor y al poder en los cielos.

Se consideraba el lugar del más alto honor estar sentado a la derecha de un príncipe. Por lo tanto, sentarse a la diestra de Dios significa que Jesús es exaltado por el honor más alto del universo. Compara Efesios 1,20,22.

1 El período en que ascendió: después de hablar con los apóstoles. No los dejó hasta que Su obra profética en la tierra se terminó, y proveyó la aplicación continua de los beneficios que había garantizado para la humanidad.

2 De dónde fue recibido: Monte de los Olivos. Un lugar favorito y

santificado por comunión frecuente con su Padre, y cerca del jardín donde hizo su voluntad a Dios. El valle de la humillación se ha transformado en la montaña del triunfo.

3 Por quien fue recibido: por los santos ángeles. ¡Qué alegría para ellos! Lo llevaron a la cámara de la presencia de Jehová, y allí se sentó a la majestad justo arriba.

Confieso mi pecado y le pido perdón, y libérame de toda condenación. Reconozco a Jesucristo como mi único y suficiente Salvador y Señor de mi vida. Escribe mi nombre en el libro de la vida.

Now the Lord, after speaking with them, was received into heaven and sat at the right hand of God. Saint Mark 16,19

Thought, comment, reflection: he was received in heaven, in a cloud of the Mount of Olives. See Acts 1.9.

God's right hand. We should not assume that God has hands or that Jesus feels in a specific direction from God. This phrase is taken from the way of speaking among men and means that he was exalted to honor and power in heaven.

It was considered the place of the highest honor to be seated at the right hand of a prince. Therefore, sitting at the right hand of God means that Jesus is exalted by the highest honor in the universe. Compare Ephesians 1,20,22.

1 The period in which he ascended: after speaking with the apostles. He did not leave them until His prophetic work on earth was finished, and He provided the continued application of the benefits He had guaranteed for mankind.

2 Where it was received from: Mount of Olives. A favorite place and

sanctified by frequent communion with his Father, and near the garden where he did his will to God. The valley of humiliation has become the mountain of triumph.

3 For whom he was received: by the holy angels. What a joy for them! They brought him into the chamber of Jehovah's presence, and there he sat the majesty just above.

I confess my sin and ask for forgiveness, and free me from all condemnation. I recognize Jesus Christ as my only and sufficient Savior and Lord of my life. Write my name in the Book of Life.
