Jesús le dijo: Tomás, porque me viste, creíste; ¡Bienaventurados los que no han visto ni creído! San Juan 20,29

Pensamiento, comentario, reflexión: porque me viste, porque miraste mi cuerpo y viste la evidencia de que soy el mismo Salvador que fue crucificado. Aquí Jesús aprueba la fe de Tomás, pero alaba la fe de aquellos que deberían creer sin haberla visto.

Bendito, feliz o digno de aprobación divina. La palabra aquí tiene la fuerza del grado comparativo, lo que significa que, de alguna manera, serían más bendecidos que Thomas. Thought, comment, reflection: because you saw me, because you looked at my body and saw the evidence that I am the same Savior who was crucified. Here Jesus approves of the faith of Thomas, but praises the faith of those who should believe without having seen it.

Blessed, happy, or worthy of divine approval. The word here has the strength of comparative degree, which means that somehow they would be more blessed than Thomas. They would demonstrate higher faith. He did not see this, those who should be convinced by the testimony of the apostles and by the influences of the Spirit. They would demonstrate a stronger faith. All faith is of things not seen; and God blesses those who most implicitly trust his word.

Reader! Jesus Christ died for you! believe, and you will be saved and you will be as blessed and happy as an apostle.
