Santa Biblia Del Nuevo Testamento 1 Corintios 8.6 Devocional - Holy Bible New Testament 1 Corinthians 8,6
New Testament Holy Bible 1 Corinthians 8.6 - Devotional
However, for us there is only one God, the Father, from whom everything is and for whom we live; and a Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are, and we through him. 1 Corinthians 8.6
Thoughts, comment by Albert Barnes: But for us Christians. We recognize only one God. Whatever pagan worship, we know that there is only one God; and only he has the right to govern us: a God, the Father, whom we recognize as the Father of all; Author of all things; and who supports the relationship of a father in all his works. The word "Father" here is not used as applicable to the first person of the Trinity, as opposed to the second, but is applied to God as God; not like the Father, in opposition to the Son, but to the divine nature as such, without reference to that distinction: the Father, differentiated from his descendants, the works that owe him their origin. This is manifest:
Confession of faith
I confess my sin and ask for forgiveness, and free me from all condemnation. I recognize Jesus Christ as my only and sufficient Savior and Lord of my life. Write my name in the Book of Life.
