Y el testimonio es este: que Dios nos ha dado vida eterna; Y esta vida está en tu Hijo. 1 juan 5.11

Pensamiento, comentario, reflexión: este es el registro, la gran verdad de la que dan testimonio el Espíritu, el agua y la sangre. Dios nos ha dado la vida eterna: un derecho a la gloria infinita y una satisfacción por ello. Y esta vida está en tu Hijo; viene a través de él; él es su autor y su comprador; es solo en él y a través de él. Ningún otro esquema de salvación puede ser efectivo; Dios no proporcionó otro, y en este caso, la invención del hombre debe ser en vano.

Esta es la suma, o cantidad, del testimonio que Dios dio sobre él.

Que Dios nos dio la vida eterna, proporcionó, a través del Salvador, los medios para obtener la vida eterna. Ver las notas en Juan 5.24; Juan 17,2,3.

Y esta vida está en tu Hijo, es estimada en él, o debe ser obtenida a través de él. Ver Juan 1,4; Juan 11.25; Juan 14.6, Colosenses 3.3.

And the testimony is this: that God has given us eternal life; And this life is in your Son. 1 john 5.11

Thought, comment, reflection: this is the record, the great truth to which the Spirit, the water and the blood bear witness. God has given us eternal life: a right to infinite glory and a satisfaction for it. And this life is in your Son; comes through him; he is its author and its buyer; it is only in him and through him. No other salvation scheme can be effective; God provided no other, and in this case, man's invention must be in vain.

This is the sum, or quantity, of the testimony that God gave about him.

That God gave us eternal life, provided, through the Savior, the means to obtain eternal life. See the notes in John 5.24; John 17,2,3.

And this life is in your Son, is esteemed in him, or must be obtained through him. See John 1,4; John 11.25; John 14.6, Colossians 3.3.

Confession of faith

I confess my sin and ask for forgiveness, and free me from all condemnation. I recognize Jesus Christ as my only and sufficient Savior and Lord of my life. Write my name in the Book of Life.
