Pensamiento, Comentario, Reflexión: Si, por lo tanto, el Hijo te libera, serás verdaderamente libre. Los fariseos afirmaban ser la simiente de Abraham; pero eran simplemente sus descendientes carnales; y la verdad que Cristo estaba presentando es que, para ser verdaderamente la simiente "espiritual" de Abraham, tendrían que estar "en Cristo" o "en el Hijo", y así ser considerados parte de la "simiente" única (Gálatas 3:16 ) ) Hasta que aceptaran a Cristo, su estatus seguiría siendo el de un esclavo y no el de un hijo de Abraham.

Thought, Commentary, Reflection: If, therefore, the Son sets you free, you will be truly free. The Pharisees claimed to be the seed of Abraham; but they were simply his carnal descendants; and the truth that Christ was presenting is that, to truly be Abraham's "spiritual" seed, they would have to be "in Christ" or "in the Son", and thus be considered part of the one "seed" (Galatians 3: 16)) Until they accepted Christ, their status would remain that of a slave and not that of a child of Abraham.

If you really are free, you must have the freedom that the Son grants you and become a son. To fully understand the figure, read Galatians 4,19,21.

Therefore, if I release you, I will share the same privilege: to be freed from all guilt and sin, I will remain in the house of God forever.
