Porque para mí, vivir es Cristo, y morir es ganar. Filipenses 1.21

Pensamiento, comentario, reflexión: se educó en Jerusalén en la escuela de Gamaliel, se convirtió en fariseo, ferviente, estuvo presente incluso a la muerte de Esteban.

En este pasaje de la carta a los filipenses, la personalidad de Pablo aparece nuevamente. Él es un converso a Cristo. Para Pablo, lo que importa de su conversión es el evangelio de Jesús. La vida o la muerte ya no importan. Él anhela que el Cristo crucificado sea glorificado por la proclamación del evangelio, ya sea en la vida o en la muerte.

Para el apóstol Pablo vivir no significa un privilegio personal.

Vivir es trabajar, es proclamar el evangelio de Jesús en todas las direcciones.

Pablo no eligió vivir por sus intereses, pero una vez convertido a Cristo, su vida es Cristo Jesús.

Confesión de fe

Confieso mi pecado y le pido perdón, y libérame de toda condenación. Reconozco a Jesucristo como mi único y suficiente Salvador y Señor de mi vida. Escribe mi nombre en el libro de la vida.

Thought, comment, reflection: he was educated in Jerusalem at the school of Gamaliel, he became a Pharisee, fervent, he was present even at the death of Stephen.

In this passage from the letter to the Philippians, Paul's personality appears again. He is a convert to Christ. For Paul, what matters about his conversion is the gospel of Jesus. Life or death no longer matters. He longs for the crucified Christ to be glorified by the proclamation of the gospel, either in life or in death.

For the apostle Paul, living does not mean a personal privilege.

Paul did not choose to live for his interests, but once converted to Christ, his life is Christ Jesus.

I confess my sin and ask for forgiveness, and free me from all condemnation. I recognize Jesus Christ as my only and sufficient Savior and Lord of my life. Write my name in the Book of Life.
