Padre, los que me diste, quiero que estén conmigo donde quiera que esté, para que puedan ver mi gloria que me has dado; porque me amabas antes de la creación del mundo. San Juan 17.24

Comentario de Adam Clarke: Para que puedas contemplar mi gloria. Para que puedas disfrutar la felicidad eterna conmigo en tu reino. Entonces se usa la palabra, Juan 3: 3; Mateo 5: 8. El plan de Cristo es que todos los que creen que deben amar y obedecer perseverarán hasta el fin y estarán eternamente unidos consigo mismos y con el Dios siempre bendito, en el reino de gloria.

Adam Clarke's comment: So you can see my glory. So you can enjoy eternal happiness with me in your kingdom. So the word is used, John 3: 3; Matthew 5: 8. Christ's plan is that all who believe they must love and obey will endure to the end and be eternally united with themselves and with the ever-blessed God in the kingdom of glory.

Where I am, in heaven. The Son of God was still in the bosom of the Father, John 1:18. See notes at John 7:34. The expression here probably means where I will be.

My glory, my honor and dignity when exalted at the right hand of God. The word "behold" implies more than just seeing; It also means participating, enjoying. See note at John 3: 3; Note to Matthew 5: 8.

You loved me, this is another of the numerous passages that prove that the Lord Jesus existed before the creation of the world. It cannot be explained under any other assumption.
