Y mientras aún hablaba, he aquí, una nube luminosa los cubrió. Y una voz salió de la nube, diciendo: Este es mi Hijo amado, en quien tengo complacencia; Escúchalo a él. San Mateo 17,5

Pensamiento, comentario, reflexión: Moisés y Elías aparecieron con Jesús en el "Monte de la Transfiguración" ante los discípulos más cercanos de Jesús. Fue el mayor honor para ellos como fieles judíos. Dios, sin embargo, quería que supieran que aunque Moisés y Elías son importantes, solo Jesús es su Hijo. Las palabras del Hijo son la máxima autoridad y la verdad de la voluntad de Dios. Si queremos ser restaurados y renovados, debemos comenzar escuchando y obedeciendo al Hijo de Dios y a nuestro Señor Jesucristo.

Thought, comment, reflection: Moses and Elijah appeared with Jesus on the "Mount of Transfiguration" before Jesus' closest disciples. It was the greatest honor for them as faithful Jews. God, however, wanted them to know that although Moses and Elijah are important, only Jesus is their Son. The Son's words are the highest authority and the truth of God's will. If we want to be restored and renewed, we must begin by listening and obeying the Son of God and our Lord Jesus Christ.
