Y se los llevó a Betania; y, levantando sus manos, los bendijo. Y sucedió que, bendiciéndolos, se apartó de ellos y fue llevado al cielo. San Lucas 24,50,51

Pensamiento, comentario, reflexión: los llevó a Betania, no a la ciudad, sino al distrito: al Monte de los Olivos, Hechos 1.12, que estaba dentro de los límites de Betania.

Cristo asciende al cielo y, a partir del cuerpo de sus discípulos, llena sus corazones con el Espíritu Santo.

Y los llevó afuera; no en este momento, sino en otro momento, un tiempo considerable después; porque Jesús tuvo entrevistas con sus discípulos en Galilea y continuó reuniéndose con ellos, de vez en cuando, por el espacio de cuarenta días después de su resurrección. (Hechos 1,3.)

Llevado al cielo, en ese cielo del cual descendió, Juan 1:18; Juan 3:13.

Esto sucedió cuarenta días después de su resurrección, Hechos 1: 3, tiempo durante el cual había dado la evidencia más convincente de esa resurrección, no solo a los apóstoles, sino a muchos otros, incluso más de quinientos a la vez, 1 Corintios 15

Como en su vida habían visto el camino hacia el reino, y en su muerte el precio del reino, así en su ascensión tenían la prueba más completa de la inmortalidad del alma, la resurrección del cuerpo humano y su continua intercesión por el derecho de Dios.

Hay algunas circunstancias notables con respecto a este ascenso mencionado en Hechos 1,4,12,

Confesión de fe

And he took them to Bethany; and raising his hands, he blessed them. And it came to pass that, blessing them, he turned from them and was taken up into heaven. Saint Luke 24,50,51

Thought, comment, reflection: he took them to Bethany, not to the city, but to the district: to the Mount of Olives, Acts 1.12, which was within the limits of Bethany.

Christ ascends to heaven and, from the body of his disciples, fills their hearts with the Holy Spirit.

And took them outside; not at this time, but at another time, a considerable time later; Because Jesus had interviews with his disciples in Galilee and continued to meet with them, from time to time, for the space of forty days after his resurrection. (Acts 1.3.)

Taken to heaven, in that heaven from which he descended, John 1:18; John 3:13.

This happened forty days after his resurrection, Acts 1: 3, during which time he had given the most convincing evidence of that resurrection, not only to the apostles, but to many others, even more than five hundred at a time, 1 Corinthians 15

As in their life they had seen the way to the kingdom, and in their death the price of the kingdom, so in their ascension they had the most complete proof of the immortality of the soul, the resurrection of the human body and their continuous intercession for the right of God .

There are some notable circumstances regarding this promotion mentioned in Acts 1,4,12,
