Mirando a Jesús, autor y consumador de la fe, quien, por la alegría que le fue propuesta, soportó la cruz, despreciando la afrenta, y se sentó a la diestra del trono de Dios. Hebreos 12: 2

Pensamiento, comentario: Es difícil "mirar a Jesús" porque él no está aquí, donde podemos verlo como otros héroes. Pero fue el mejor aventurero y explorador. ¡Él enfrentó el horrible castigo y la vergüenza de la cruz, quitando nuestro pecado! Hizo esto para que pudiéramos tener un héroe que la muerte y el pecado no pudieran destruir, arruinar ni manchar. Hizo esto para que pudiéramos estar seguros de seguir sus pasos. ¡El camino que tomó no fue solo para él, sino también para nosotros!

Confesión de fe

Confieso mi pecado y le pido perdón, y libérame de toda condenación. Reconozco a Jesucristo como mi único y suficiente Salvador y Señor de mi vida. Escribe mi nombre en el libro de la vida.

Looking at Jesus, author and finisher of the faith, who, for the joy that was proposed to him, endured the cross, despising the affront, and sat at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12: 2

Thought, comment: It is difficult to "look at Jesus" because he is not here, where we can see him like other heroes. But he was the best adventurer and explorer. He faced the horrible punishment and shame of the cross, taking away our sin! He did this so that we could have a hero that death and sin could not destroy, ruin, or stain. He did this so that we could be sure to follow in his footsteps. The path he took was not only for him, but also for us!

I confess my sin and ask for forgiveness, and free me from all condemnation. I recognize Jesus Christ as my only and sufficient Savior and Lord of my life. Write my name in the Book of Life.
