Dando esto por sentado, el que comenzó el buen trabajo en ti lo perfeccionará hasta el Día de Jesucristo. Filipenses 1,6

Pensamiento, Comentario, Reflexión: Ten confianza, no faltará nada de Dios para apoyarte; y para hacerte sabio, santo y feliz; y finalmente llevarte a tu reino y gloria.

Confiando en eso, quien comenzó un buen trabajo en ti lo perfeccionará hasta el día de Jesucristo.

Pablo no se refiere a sí mismo aquí como el fundador de la iglesia en Filipos, aunque en cierto sentido fue el fundador. Pablo, sin embargo, prefirió dar gloria a

Dios, reconociendo al Padre como el que realmente los convirtió y los llevó a un conocimiento salvador del Salvador.

Boice declaró categóricamente que este versículo es "uno de los tres más grandes en la Biblia", enseñando la doctrina de la perseverancia final de los santos. Taking this for granted, the one who started the good work in you will perfect it until the Day of Jesus Christ. Philippians 1.6

Thought, Commentary, Reflection: Be confident, nothing will be missing from God to support you; and to make you wise, holy and happy; and finally take you to your kingdom and glory.

Trusting in that, whoever started a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ.

Paul does not refer to himself here as the founder of the church at Philippi, although in a sense he was the founder. Paul, however, preferred to give glory to

God, recognizing the Father as the one who really converted them and brought them to a saving knowledge of the Savior.

Boice categorically stated that this verse is "one of the three greatest in the Bible", teaching the doctrine of the final perseverance of the saints. This student, however, finds no suggestion of such a doctrine in this passage. It should be noted here that Paul's confidence was not in the Philippians, but in God. It was the conduct of those Philippians up to that point that inspired Paul with confidence regarding his final destination. As Hendriksen put it:

Your perseverance in understanding participation in the work of the gospel (Philippians 1: 5) convinced me that you are the object of divine preservation (Philippians 1: 6).

These two should not be separated. It is true that God predestined and predestined these souls for eternal life; But God did absolutely nothing to compel the Philippians to be such souls! This is not what Paul said here; but his statement is that the evidence showed that the Philippians were such souls, as evidenced by their conduct throughout his knowledge of them, and that God will surely reward them eternally, of course, such trust depends on the fact that the Philippians follow being these souls

Until the day of Jesus Christ, this can hardly be anything, except the last day of the Second Coming of Christ, called in the New Testament "the judgment".
