Yo soy la vid, ustedes son las ramas; quienquiera que esté en mí y yo en él, da mucho fruto, porque sin mí no puedes hacer nada. JUAN 15.5

Pensamiento, Comentario, Reflexión: Yo soy la vid, Juan 15: 1, Sin mí no puedes hacer nada. La expresión "sin mí" denota lo mismo que separado de mí. Como las ramas, si se separan del tronco de los padres, no dan fruto, sino que inmediatamente se marchitan y mueren, por lo que los cristianos, si se separan de Cristo, no pueden hacer nada. La expresión es una, por lo tanto, implica una fuerte dependencia. El Hijo de Dios fue la fuente original de la vida, Juan 1: 4. Él también, a través de su trabajo como Mediador, da vida al mundo Juan 6:33, y es por la misma gracia y acción que continúa en el cristiano. Vemos, por lo tanto:

1. Que todas las alabanzas se deben a él por todas las buenas obras que hace el cristiano.

Thought, Commentary, Reflection: I am the vine, John 15: 1, Without me you can do nothing. The expression "without me" denotes the same as separate from me. Like the branches, if they are separated from the trunk of the parents, they do not bear fruit, but immediately wilt and die, so that Christians, if separated from Christ, can do nothing. The expression is one, therefore, implies a strong dependency. The Son of God was the original source of life, John 1: 4. He also, through his work as Mediator, gives life to the world John 6:33, and it is by the same grace and action that continues in the Christian . We see, therefore:

1. That all the praises are due to him for all the good works that the Christian does.

2. That they will do good works exactly as they feel their dependence on him and look at him. AND

3. That the reason why others stop being holy is because they are not willing to look at you and seek the grace and strength of those who can only give.
